Khurshid Shah to hold additional charge of Secy PHE, I&FC, DMRRR | KNO

Srinagar, February 20 (KNO) : The state administration Wednesday assigned the additional charge of Secretary PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control & DMRRR to Khurshid Ahmad Shah. The development comes hours after Farooq Ahmad Shah who was holding the charge Secretary PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control & DMRRR applied for voluntary retirement. “In the interest of administration, Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Shah, IAS (JK:2000), Commissioner /Secretary to the Government, Public Works (R&B) Department, shall hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Department and Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, with immediate effect, in addition to his own duties, till further orders,” a GAD order under number 237-GAD of 2019, dated 20-02-2019 reads.(KNO)
